Some of Raelene’s favorite things: family and teaching the Word of God
The types of settings Raelene has spoken in have varied, and all have been great opportunities for her to share God’s Word. While speaking to women’s groups
around the U.S. has been, and continues to be, a great privilege, teaching in other countries has given Raelene opportunities to stretch her study and teaching skills for different cultures.
Teaching at a women’s conference of over 400 women in Camaguey, Cuba was the first opportunity at using a translator. Knowing a tiny bit of Spanish helped, but in the next country, Raelene knew none of the language – Russian. Traveling 400 miles south of Moscow, Raelene taught a week-long training event for pastor’s wives/women’s leaders in Staryy Oskol, Russia.
